I teach networking about 3 times a year at various Chamber of Commerce workshops - I always bring my copy of the Little Black Book of Connections and highly recommend that the attendies purchase it. Gitomer offers some down home common sense advice on how to improve your business's performace through improving your network; e.g., write down a list of the top 10 people you want to meet, then build your plan to make it happen, the execute that plan. I sent a copy of this book to a friend a couple of years back - he said he hadn't read a book in years but he read this one twice. It's a good book and you should have it in your library.
